The Bude 41 Gentlemen's Dining Club
meets at two monthly intervals on the third Monday (approximately). The Club was formed from the remains of the Bude 41 club. The rules for membership were that a candidate for membership must have been an ex member of Bude Round Table and have retired under the 40 years retirement rule of Bude Round Table. At this time Bude 41 club had a Chairman that served a one year term and a permanent secretary/treasurer. In 2005 ropes staged a coup declaring himself Permanent Supremo combining the duties of all officers and abolishing the office of chairman. The club was renamed "The Bude 41 Gentlemen's Dining Club" membership to be by invitation of a current member. The Club to remain a gentlemen only club. Horesplay, crudeness, discussion of politics and religion are banned! |
